Revelation 8:8-9 (New International Version) The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, 9a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In Hopi prophecy the sea turns black: "This is the Seventh Sign: You will hear of the sea turning black, and many living things dying because of it."

Red Rain (Again) 24-Sep-2010 It's red rain yet again. Researchers are still studying cells from India's 2001 red rain and have found that they multiply under extreme heat, and they DON'T contain DNA. Life on Earth may have been seeded from comets, asteroids or meteors, according to controversial "evidence" of life on a meteorite from Mars. The cells, which are inert at room temperature, begin to reproduce when heated. In the Australia Herald Sun, Peter Farquhar quotes researcher physicist Godfrey Louis as saying that within 2 hours of being exposed to the heat, "daughter cells appear within the original mother cells and the number of cells in the samples increases with length of exposure." www.unknowncountry.com/news/?id=8594

Red Rain Update 27-Nov-2006 On a recent Dreamland show, Linda Howe reported on the phenomenon that's come to be known as red rain. Does this rain, which started falling over Southern India 2 years ago, contain extraterrestrial bacteria? In BBC news, Andrew Thompson reports that researcher Godfrey Louis discovered that there were tiny biological cells present in the rain. Not only that, but they do not seem to contain DNA, so they could be alien life forms. When he discovered this, he said, "This staggering claim is that this is possibly extraterrestrial. That is a big claim I know, but all the experiments are supporting this claim." This announcement set up an alarm among scientists all over the world. But mainstream scientists are usually totally skeptical about theories of alien life, so why are they taking Louis seriously? It's because it ties in with a theory that UK scientists Fred Hoyle (now deceased) and Chandra Wickramasinghe have been advocating for 40 years: that life on earth originated on anther planet and traveled here on a comet or meteorite?maybe even from Mars (which would make us all, technically, Martians). www.unknowncountry.com/news/?id=5787

Mass Whale Deaths Off Argentina Baffle Experts April 2, 2010 Marine mammal experts are scrambling to uncover what has caused a mass death of baby right whales along southern Argentina’s Patagonian coast over the past three years. The International Whaling Commission has convened an urgent meeting near where more than 300 dead whales were found. “It has been established that a die-off like this was a completely unknown phenomenon and nothing like it has been seen anywhere else in the world,” said Argentine Whale Conservation Institute president Diego Taboada. www.earthweek.com/2010/ew100402/ew100402c.html

Death Toll in Mysterious Mass Pilot Whale Beachings Hits 168 02.15.10 Over the last few months, there's been a spate of mass strandings on a New Zealand island--pilot whales have been mysteriously washing up onshore, baffling scientists and conservationists. The most recent beaching occurred when 28 pilot whales washed up on a remote New Zealand beach. Nine were already dead, and the 19 surviving whales were dying and suffering, and had to be euthanized. The even brought the total of whales to die from stranding to 168 over the last couple months alone. www.treehugger.com/files/2010/02/death-toll-mass-pilot-whale-beachings-168.php
