"Living on Oxford Time" - 1 hr podcast Oxford is known for many things – its “dreaming spires,” as a poet once described it; its storied quadrangles, honey-coloured walls and graceful arches; its throngs of tourists. It’s also a place where time does not exist. And not just in the travel-guidebook sense of “well-preserved medieval buildings” or “centuries-old traditions.” Rather, it’s a place where time itself – depending on who you ask – may simply vanish. At least, that’s what science journalist Dan Falk heard when he spoke with a trio of researchers who have each developed rather unorthodox views about time and space, and, whether by chance or destiny, have all found a home in Britain’s oldest university town. Is Precognition Real? Cornell University Lab Releases Powerful New Evidence that the Human Mind can Perceive the Future Written By: Ben Goertzel Date Published: November 4, 2010 According to today’s conventional scientific wisdom, time flows strictly forward — from the past to the future through the present. We can remember the past, and we can predict the future based on the past (albeit imperfectly) — but we can’t perceive the future. But if the recent data from the lab of Prof. Daryl Bem at Cornell University is correct, conventional scientific wisdom may need some corrections on this particular point. In a research paper titled Feeling the Future, recently accepted for publication in the prestigious Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Bem presents some rather compelling empirical evidence that in some cases — and with weak but highly statistically significant accuracy – many human beings can directly perceive the future. Not just predict it based on the past. www.hplusmagazine.com/editors-blog/precognition-real-cornell-university-lab-releases-powerful-new-evidence-human-mind-can-Feeling the Future: Experimental Evidence for Anomalous Retroactive Influences on Cognition and Affect (61pp) dbem.ws/FeelingFuture.pdf

Vernetzte Intelligenz by Grazyna Fosar and Franz Bludorf (summarized and translated by Baerbel):
“The latest research explains phenomena such as clairvoyance, intuition, spontaneous and remote acts of healing, self healing, affirmation techniques, unusual light-auras around people (namely spiritual masters), mind's influence on weather-patterns and much more. The Russian scientists also found out that our DNA can cause disturbing patterns in the vacuum, thus producing magnetized wormholes! Wormholes are the microscopic equivalents of the so-called Einstein-Rosen bridges in the vicinity of black holes (left by burned-out stars). These are tunnel connections between entirely different areas in the universe through which information can be transmitted outside of space and time. The DNA attracts these bits of information and passes them on to our consciousness.
What we are seeing here is ‘Hyper-communication’, where information is passed inter-dimensionally. It is as though the DNA acts as a ‘Stargate’ between this dimension and others. In the book there are several stories of how this information is downloaded via DNA.
For example:
1) The Italian composer Giuseppe Tartini for instance dreamt one night that a devil sat at his bedside playing the violin. The next morning Tartini was able to note down the piece exactly from memory, he called it the Devil’s Trill Sonata.
2) For years, a 42-year old male nurse dreamt of a situation in which he was hooked up to a kind of knowledge CD-ROM. Verifiable knowledge from all imaginable fields was then transmitted to him that he was able to recall in the morning. There was such a flood of information that it seemed a whole encyclopedia was transmitted at night. The majority of these facts were outside his personal knowledge base and reached technical details about which he knew absolutely nothing.
If one understands quantum physics and the function of sine waves, one knows that when the sine waves intersect (crosses over) another sine wave - all the information stored in each individual sine wave is transferred to the wave it is intersecting. Basically, each human being is its’ own Tesla coil. As an interdimensional spiritual being, consciousness is not limited to ego and the confines of duality within a 3 dimensional landscape.
The Institute for Noetic Sciences has done numerous experiments with consciousness, remote healing, remote viewing and how consciousness can travel to various nexus points within this universe and even to other dimensions. This means that our DNA is the key to opening up wormholes to other dimensions and also allows us to gather information from other dimensions. For example, many inventors are able to access information with their intention and during dreamtime, when the ego is out of the way, this information is revealed. At this time one is both unconscious and yet in a place of singularity where all exists as a whole, as compared to compartmentalized when awake.
Meditation and various other spiritual practices can take someone to these inner experiences of singularity and singularity also can be a spontaneous event triggered by a variety situations.
Near death experiences are experiences of the continuation of consciousness outside of the physical body. In that state of singularity consciousness, all information is available. Once having experienced that particular frequency, the person returning back to their body often has access to this knowingness by recalling the feeling state of the frequency and reconnecting (creating a wormhole) with their thoughts.
It was also noted how this information can be passed between individuals who’s DNA is ‘turned on.’ This helps explain how many of the Psychic Children can exchange complex concepts to each other through an invisible web. It is the DNA communicating over vast distances:
We now know that just as on the Internet, our DNA can feed its proper data into the network, can call up data from the network and can establish contact with other participants in the network. Remote healing, telepathy or remote sensing about the state of relatives etc. can thus be explained. Some animals know also from afar when their owners plan to return home. That can be freshly interpreted and explained via the concepts of “group consciousness” (pod mind) and “hyper communication.”
Russian researcher Doctor Vladimir Poponin put DNA in a tube and beamed a laser through it. When the DNA was removed, the laser light continued spiraling on its own, like it would through a crystal! This effect is called ‘Phantom DNA Effect.’
It is surmised that energy from outside of space and time still flows through the activated wormholes after the DNA was removed. The side effect encountered most often, in hyper-communication and also in human beings, is inexplicable electromagnetic fields in the vicinity of the persons concerned. Electronic devices like CD players and the like can be irritated and cease to function for hours. When the electromagnetic field slowly dissipates, the devices function normally again. Many healers and psychics know this effect from their work.
DNA and Solar Radiation
Maurice Cotterell, author of The Mayan Prophecies and Astrogenetics studied the effects of solar radiation on humans for over twenty years and discovered that genetic mutations are caused through the action of ionizing radiations. He has found that X-rays and gamma rays from the Sun are the key factor in genetic leaps of species.
The DNA is spliced which causes the genetic mutations. Ionizing radiation and magnetic radiation from solar flares on the Sun’s surface and other sources have acted upon developing genera causing mutational leaps in species.

It's About Time by Robert A. Nelson Time travel might a science fiction fantasy, but time cameras have been a reality for several decades. And for all that the public knows or not, travel into the past (if not the future) might also be an accomplished fact. There are a few claimants to that effect, namely Preston Nichols and company, who have published a series of books (however dubious) about the "Montauk Project" in New Jersey during the 1960s (plus or minus hundreds of years). In 1912, Baron Ernst von Lubek published an account of his accounts with trans-time photography. His equipment included a cathode ray tube with lead and dysprosium electrodes, energized by an Oudin coil (a modified Tesla coil). In 1934, William D. Pelley, editor of Liberation magazine, reported on his experiments with a form of time-camera which he called "Ultra-Vision", allegedly developed in collaboration with Thomas Edison and Steinmetz. The apparatus was confiscated by the FBI. The Radionic Camera developed in the 1950s by George DeLaWarr was capable of imaging the past and the future, and he published photographs demonstrating the effect. In the opinion of DeLaWarr, "Time is a vector of the magnetic spectrum and that spectrum has a place in itself for events... There is a pre-physical world in which the camera might be expected to operate". www.rexresearch.com/time/time.htm

Could It Be? Spooky Experiments That 'See' The Future January 4, 2011 One of the most respected, senior and widely published professors of psychology, Daryl Bem of Cornell, has just published an article that suggests that people — ordinary people — can be altered by experiences they haven't had yet. Time, he suggests, is leaking. The Future has slipped, unannounced, into the Present. And he thinks he can prove it. Already critics are jumping up and down, saying this can't be, time is not porous, the experiments are flawed. But because this is the Professor Daryl Bem (he's in your high school textbook for his work on self perception) and because the journal publishing his article is top-of-the-line rigorous, all over the world psychologists are trying to duplicate what Dr. Bem has done. If serious scientists can repeat his results, this story is going to be big. ... For me (untrained in these matters) the niggling question is Bem's numbers: 53.1 percent is slightly better than chance. It's not 50-50, but is this really significant? The effect shows up across nine different experiments, involving more than a thousand subjects. So the effect in cumulative. But is that enough? Here's what Melissa Burkley writes in her blog at Psychology Today: ...small effect sizes are not that uncommon in psychology (and other sciences). For example, on average, the Bem studies showed an effect size of .20 (out of a possible range of 0-1). Although that is fairly small, it is as large as or larger than some well-established effects, including the link between aspirin and heart attack prevention, calcium intake and bone mass, second hand smoke and lung cancer, and condom use and HIV prevention (Bushman & Anderson, 2001). And as Cohen has pointed out, such small effect sizes are most likely to occur in the early stages of exploring a topic, when scientists are just starting to discover why the effect occurs and when it is most likely to occur.www.npr.org/blogs/krulwich/2011/01/04/132622672/could-it-be-spooky-experiments-that-see-the-futureBlog, Melissa Burkley, Ph.D. Have Scientists Finally Discovered Evidence for Psychic Phenomena? - Published on October 11, 2010 www.psychologytoday.com/blog/the-social-thinker/201010/have-scientists-finally-discovered-evidence-psychic-phenomena

Dinosaurs survived for at least 700,000 years after meteorite collision 4:00PM GMT 28 Jan 2011 A team at the University of Alberta, Canada, used a new "direct-dating" method called U-Pb (uranium lead) dating to establish the age of a hadrosaur's thigh bone much more accurately. A laser beam removes minute particles of the fossil, which then undergo radioactive dating - which allows the age of the fossil bone to be determined and can even tell what type of food the dinosaur ate. A team at the University of Alberta, Canada, used a new 'direct-dating' method to establish the age of a hadrosaur's thigh bone much more accuratelyLiving bone contains very low levels of uranium, but during fossilisation (typically less than 1000 years after death), this level increases. www.telegraph.co.uk/science/dinosaurs/8288863/Dinosaurs-survived-for-at-least-700000-years-after-meteorite-collision.html

The Huangshang Mountains Jan 19, 2011 Scientists tell us that Earth’s geology has been shaped over million of years. Millions of years might actually be involved in forming the topography we see. But if that is the case, then there are anomalies that occasionally surface. For example, there appear to be eyewitness accounts in myths and legends that refer to massive geological processes. Rather than the slow processes of plate tectonics, wind, and weather there is another process that can cause exactly the same events but in an almost instantaneous period: electric discharge, or "spark machining." Electric currents might once have flowed through Earth's conductive strata with energies like nothing we know today. www.thunderbolts.info/tpod/2011/arch11/110119huangshang.htm

Time travel experiment demonstrates how to avoid the grandfather paradox (Update) March 1, 2011 (PhysOrg.com) -- Among the many intriguing concepts in Einstein’s relativity theories is the idea of closed timelike curves (CTCs), which are paths in spacetime that return to their starting points. As such, CTCs offer the possibility of traveling back in time. But, as many science fiction films have addressed, time travel is full of potential paradoxes. Perhaps the most notable of these is the grandfather paradox, in which a time traveler goes back in time and kills her grandfather, preventing her own birth. In a new study, a team of researchers has proposed a new theory of CTCs that can resolve the grandfather paradox, and they also perform an experiment showing how such a scheme works. The researchers, led by Seth Lloyd from MIT, along with scientists from the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, Italy; the University of Pavia in Pavia, Italy; the Tokyo Institute of Technology; and the University of Toronto, have published their study in a recent issue of Physical Review Letters. The concepts in the study are similar to an earlier study by some of the same authors that was posted at arXiv.org last year. www.physorg.com/news/2011-03-grandfather-paradox.html

Closed Timelike Curves via Postselection: Theory and Experimental Test of Consistency Phys. Rev. Lett. 106, 040403 (2011) [4 pages] Received 12 May 2010; revised 22 November 2010; published 27 January 2011 Closed timelike curves (CTCs) are trajectories in spacetime that effectively travel backwards in time: a test particle following a CTC can interact with its former self in the past. A widely accepted quantum theory of CTCs was proposed by Deutsch. Here we analyze an alternative quantum formulation of CTCs based on teleportation and postselection, and show that it is inequivalent to Deutsch’s. The predictions or retrodictions of our theory can be simulated experimentally: we report the results of an experiment illustrating how in our particular theory the “grandfather paradox” is resolved. prl.aps.org/abstract/PRL/v106/i4/e040403

First Demonstration of Time CloakingPhysicists have created a "hole in time" using the temporal equivalent of an invisibility cloak. kfc 07/14/2011 Invisibility cloaks are the result of physicists' newfound ability to distort electromagnetic fields in extreme ways. The idea is steer light around a volume of space so that anything inside this region is essentially invisible. The effect has generated huge interest. The first invisibility cloaks worked only at microwave frequencies but in only a few years, physicists have found ways to create cloaks that work for visible light, for sound and for ocean waves. They've even designed illusion cloaks that can make one object look like another. www.technologyreview.com/blog/arxiv/26992/

Britain battles U.S. to keep the leap second at conference which could see 'biggest timekeeping change for centuries' Last updated at 5:45 PM on 19th January 2012 Leap seconds added to allow for Earth's rotation U.S.-led coalition wants shift to man-made time Change could see midday come at nighttime Under threat: The U.S. wants to move to a new man-made standard of time that disregards the position of the sun in the sky, rendering sundials useless Opponents, including experts from the UK and China, say such a change would mean time shifting out of sync with people's everyday experience of night and day. David Willetts, Minister of State for Universities and Science, told the BBC: 'The UK position is that we should stick to the current system used throughout the world. 'Without leap seconds we will eventually lose the link between time and people's everyday experience of day and night.' Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) has, since the Seventies, been the agreed universal standard which dictates what time it is in every time zone on the planet.
