Nuclear Ambiguity: Israel’s “Secret” Arsenal (Eyeopener) 28 Oct 2011 Podcast: Play in new window | Download [NOTE: The full video report is now available to subscribers of BoilingFrogsPost.com. CLICK HERE to watch.] James Corbett BoilingFrogsPost.com October 28, 2011 Hand-wringing over Iran’s nuclear program has been a mainstay of western political discourse ever since an Iranian dissident revealed the Iranian government’s plans for a uranium enrichment facility in Natanz in August 2002. Indeed, fearmongering over the possibility of an independent Iranian nuclear program has become so commonplace that it seldom raises an eyebrow even among the most cynical observers of the bought-and-paid-for corporate media. To defuse the glaring hypocrisy of the world’s greatest nuclear superpower chastising a nation halfway around the world for pursuing a nuclear program that is admittedly still incapable of even producing a single nuclear weapon, it is often stressed that the IAEA ruled Iran to be in violation of its obligations under the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty. Apart from the exceedingly unusual manner in which that decision was reached — in a highly unusual non-consensus ruling with 12 abstentions–what is never mentioned in this context is that there is in fact only one nation in the Middle East that is not a signatory to the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty itself, and only one country with a nuclear arsenal, an arsenal that has never been inspected by the IAEA or anybody else: Israel. Panetta admits Iran not developing nukes - Monday, January 9, 2012 U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta let slip on Sunday the big open secret that Washington war hawks don’t want widely known: Iran is not developing nuclear weapons. www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/01/09/panetta-admits-iran-not-developing-nukes/Who is responsible for the Iran nuclear scientists attacks? - Thursday 12 January 2012 20.30 GMT [Robert Baer, a former CIA agent in the Middle East, currently working on a book on assassination called The Perfect Kill.] "It's a provocation," he says. "My theory is that Israel couldn't get the White House to agree to bombing. It is not satisfied with sanctions, so the Israelis are trying to provoke the Iranians into launching a missile and starting a war." www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/jan/12/iran-nuclear-scientists-attacks

Non-signatory: (India, Israel, Pakistan) Withdrawn: (North Korea) Israel and Iran Agree on Nuclear Ambiguity - February 07, 2012 “Most Israelis aren’t even aware that their country’s willing to contemplate the NWFZ idea,” emphasizes Hillel Schenker, co-editor of the Palestine-Israel Journal, a Jerusalem-based quarterly run by both Israeli and Palestinian experts. original.antiwar.com/klochendler/2012/02/06/israel-and-iran-agree-on-nuclear-ambiguity/Israel teams with terror group to kill Iran's nuclear scientists, U.S. officials tell NBC News - Thu Feb 9, 2012 6:16 AM EST Deadly attacks on Iranian nuclear scientists are being carried out by an Iranian dissident group that is financed, trained and armed by Israel’s secret service, U.S. officials tell NBC News, confirming charges leveled by Iran’s leaders. The group, the People’s Mujahedin of Iran, has long been designated as a terrorist group by the United States, accused of killing American servicemen and contractors in the 1970s and supporting the takeover of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran before breaking with the Iranian mullahs in 1980. rockcenter.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/02/08/10354553-israel-teams-with-terror-group-to-kill-irans-nuclear-scientists-us-officials-tell-nbc-newsWant Australian uranium? Jundallah claims responsibility for kiling Shia Muslims in Pakistan Tue Feb 28, 2012 1:28PM GMT At least 18 people were killed -- execution style -- on Tuesday when the bus carrying passengers from Rawalpindi to the northern town of Gilgit came under attack in the mountainous region of Kohistan... Jundallah terrorists are notorious for their numerous deadly bombings and assassination attempts in Iran, mainly in the country’s Sistan-and-Baluchestan Province, which borders Afghanistan and Pakistan. www.presstv.ir/detail/229073.htmlFalse Flag, A series of CIA memos describes how Israeli Mossad agents posed as American spies to recruit members of the terrorist organization Jundallah to fight their covert war against Iran. JANUARY 13, 2012 But while the memos show that the United States had barred even the most incidental contact with Jundallah, according to both intelligence officers, the same was not true for Israel's Mossad. The memos also detail CIA field reports saying that Israel's recruiting activities occurred under the nose of U.S. intelligence officers, most notably in London, the capital of one of Israel's ostensible allies, where Mossad officers posing as CIA operatives met with Jundallah officials. www.foreignpolicy.com/articles/2012/01/13/false_flag

Dubai’s press censorship: Call the sea by the wrong name, get deported September 19, 2012 Updated: September 19, 2012 | 12:26 pm It began with paragraphs of text conspicuously missing from a story I wrote, citing reports that the Saudi Grand Mufti, Sheikh Abdulaziz Al al-Shaikh, the highest authority on Islamic affairs in neighbouring Saudi Arabia, called for the destruction of all churches in the Arabian Peninsula (where the UAE is located.) “The grand mufti is off limits,” one of the editors told me when I approached him, with my story in shambles. I quickly learned that the mufti wasn’t the only subject matter I was to never write about. The UAE’s territorial dispute with Iran — located across the Persian Gulf — over the ownership of several islands also led to a clampdown on stories. metronews.ca/news/world/374674/dubais-press-censorship-call-the-sea-by-the-wrong-name-get-deported/

Former U.S. president Jimmy Carter says Argo gives short shrift to Canada February 22, 2013 5:09pm In an interview with CNN’s Piers Morgan, Carter said he believes the film was a “great drama” and deserved to win an Oscar for best film. However, Carter noted that although “90 per cent of the contributions to the ideas and the consummation of the plan was Canadian,” the film “gives almost full credit to the American CIA.” What you won’t see in Argo: A retired U.S. diplomat rescued from Iran writes about the real heroes of 1979 www2.macleans.ca/2013/02/22/former-u-s-president-jimmy-carter-says-argo-gives-short-shrift-to-canada/
